We're going to do what? Run a 5K? Where? Outside in the snow and cold?? When? At 11:30 at night?? Are we crazy? Yes, we are. This is a picture of us right before our run. Every New Year's for the past 6 years, my dad and I run a 'Beat the New Year 5K'. My friends, Patty and Kevin decided to join us this year. In the 6 years we've done it, I've only beat the New Year once. 28 minutes. Needless to say, that wasn't this year. I decline to give my actual time this year. Unimportant. It's on a need-to-know basis only. You don't need to know. Moving on......
This is us after the run. We're all smiling. I guess that's a good sign. Well, Kevin's not smiling. He's gloating. He got in at 23 minutes. Rubbing it in and all......Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone. I wish everyone to perseverance and will power to accomplish their New Year's resolutions........or at least through the month of January.
