Happy Birthday Ethan!

So what did the Tarr family do for Ethan's birthday? We went to a pumpkin launch. Yup, some people build slingshots, trebuchets, air-compressed cannons and they shoot pumpkins out of them. The goal is height or distance or hitting a target. It was actually quite fun. Something different I guess. Ethan had a ball. That's what counts.
Here's the family watching and waiting for the next pumpkin to go flying.

Happy Birthday Ethan. My boy is 6! He is so big. So grown up. Well, maybe not. He wanted a rattlesnake cake for his birthday. I've got to quite asking him what cake he wants and just go buy a plain cake. The stress! Ahh.
I think this picture is quite cute. My kids hamming it up for the camera. How sweet. This is how Maeve smiles these days. It's a full-face-ahead kind of a smile. Cracks us up every time. Ethan wanted his new jet to be in the picture. This is what he's really into now. Jets. He got a couple jets for his birthday including a Lego jet. Also a DVD collection of jets. Oh, and clothes of course. The dreaded clothes. Ethan woke myself and Darren up at 6am. He wanted to open up his presents. Hey, I thought that only happened at Christmas? Ugh. It was early.
