Fun-Filled Days

We've had quite the busy 2 weeks. The past few days were spent in the Uintas 4-wheeling with our friends, the Johnsons. The Johnsons were our neighbors and friends in South Weber. We had an absolute ball. It was a little rainy and muddy, but that can still be perfect weather for 4-wheeling. We came home dirty and muddy. I had mud in my hair and on my shirt, which was covered by my coat and sweatshirt. I don't know how the mud got down there. Ethan had mud on the inside of his pants and in his ears. Don't know how the mud got in there. Even Maeve loved 4-wheeling. She was just checking things out, looking around. When she got tired, she just dropped her head and drifted off to sleep. We're definitely going to make another trip back there this summer. This time, hopefully, we'll go for a few more days and spend more time in the hills. There are so many trails and so little time.

Here's a picture of sweet little Maeve. She's ready to hit the road and head for the mountains for some 4-wheeling.

Ethan and my mom and I also made strawberry jam and packaged up some strawberries and blueberries for freezing for the winter. Oh, aren't we so domesticated. It's the first of much canning and freezing we intend to do.
