Ethan had a bit of a rough day today. A rock on the ground jumped up, grabbed his leg and pulled him to the ground. When Ethan hit the ground another rock took a bite out of his head. I was sitting with Maeve, feeding her and my mom comes rushing over, "Get a diaper! Get a diaper! Ethan's head is gushing!" Sure enough, when I run up to Ethan with one of Maeve's diaper, Ethan's face is covered in blood. It's just gushing out everywhere. We get him cleaned up and got the bleeding to stop, but it still dripped a little bit. When we got home to my parents' house, we took him to my dad's office and my dad put a dermo-glue on his head. He didn't quite need a stitch, but the wound definitely needed to be closed up. These are before and after pictures. Guess which is before and guess which is after.

Also, good news too. While we were at my dad's office, we decided to weigh Maeve. She is now 7 lbs. 5 oz. She is up 7 ounces in just a few days. We're incredibly pleased with that. Plus, she's filled out in her face a little bit. She's starting to sport a double chin. It's still a tiny double chin, but it's coming. We're just glad she's gaining weight.
